Corporate Ghana has taken a major step towards strengthening workplace wellbeing with the successful debut of the Corporate in Motion initiative, a large-scale wellness event jointly hosted by Accra Financial Centre, Stanbic Heights and the Standard Chartered Building.
Participants joined a diverse range of activities designed to cater for varying fitness levels. These included 10-kilometre and 5-kilometre runs and walks from the Accra Financial Centre to Stanbic Heights, a 10-kilometre cycling session on the same route, and a rooftop yoga session dubbed Yoga on the Tower, which focused on mindfulness and mental wellness. Winners in the various categories received awards, while Accra Financial Centre earned the title of Overall Best Tower for demonstrating the highest levels of participation, enthusiasm and team spirit.
In the weeks leading up to the event, tenants across all three buildings took part in a month-long Step Count Challenge that reinforced daily movement and healthy competition among colleagues. Organisers said the challenge fostered camaraderie and increased awareness of the importance of consistent physical activity. The overall top performer in the challenge was honoured on the event day.
Following the strong debut, organisers and building managers say Corporate in Motion will become a permanent fixture in Ghana’s corporate wellness calendar.
The three buildings, in partnership with LYF Arena, plan to expand the initiative and deepen collaborations that support a healthier and more productive corporate environment.
