Nana Boamah Kwabi IV, paramount chief of Beposo Traditional Area, has said even though chiefs are not allowed to do party politics, they would not sit down to supervise party activists fomenting trouble in their communities.
He said this during a courtesy call on him at his palace by the NPP presidential flag bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as part of his campaign tour of the Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo constituency.
Nana Boamah Kwabi praised Nana Akufo-Addo for his campaign messages which had been focused on what he intends doing for the country if he becomes president and appealed to other presidential aspirants to do the same and avoid tribal politics and insults.
He appealed to Nana Akufo-Addo to consider the water problem in the Sekyere Central District and establish vocational and technical school at Beposo to solve the unemployment problem in the area that has resulted in some youth travelling outside the town to engage in menial jobs.
Nana Akufo-Addo introduced Mr Osei Prempeh, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the constituency, to the electorate and appealed to them to vote massively for the party to enable the country to move forward in its socio-economic and political development.
