Forty traders who failed to attend communal labour organized by the Akuapem South Municipal Assembly under the government's programme to reduce filth in communities would be put before the Nsawam Magistrate court.
This was announced by Mr Christopher Kwabena Asubonteng, the Akuapem South Municipality Environmental Officer in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Nsawam at the weekend.
He said the Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the ZoomLion Company have instituted a monthly clean up exercise in the Akuapem South Municipality in line with the government's efforts to keep Ghana clean.
The last clean up exercise took place at Nsawam, Adoagyiri, Gyankrom and Afoto.
