Members of Hohoe Municipal Assembly on Tuesday confirmed Mr Victor Herman-Condobrey, an Educationist as Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive.
He polled 53 out of the 66 votes cast, representing 80.3 per cent.
Mr Herman-Condobrey said his endorsement was a new bond of partnership among stakeholders to speed up development of the area.
He pledged to facilitate the all-round development of the area and asked for the cooperation of all and sundry.
The assembly also elected Miss Edith Akpoto, an Educationist as its Presiding Member who demanded from assembly members to take their responsibilities seriously.
She pledged to revive all dormant sub committees of the assembly to strengthen decentralisation within the municipality.
Mr Joseph Amenowode, Volta Regional Minister urged assembly members to scrutinise all documents before approving them.
Mr Prince Jacob Hayibor, Member of Parliament for Hohoe-North said the endorsement of Mr Herman Condobrey was part of the changing process blowing across the whole nation.
