Iran's Parliament speaker Ali Larijani Sunday condemned Saudi interference in the conflict in northern Yemen, the satellite Press TV reported.
During a Sunday session, the lawmakers called on Islamic states to take action against "the killing of innocent Muslims in Yemen," the report said.
He asked the Saudi King Abdullah to prevent what he said "the killing of innocent Muslims."
According to the press release posted on the Yemeni rebel Website on Saturday, up to six Yemeni Shiite rebel positions inside the Yemeni soil
were hit during five Saudi air raids.
However, the Yemeni government always denied that Saudi jets attacked targets inside its territories, describing such rebel claims as fabricated, false and baseless.
Yemeni reports last month said Yemen had seized an Iranian vessel delivering weapons to the Yemeni rebels. Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh
has accused some Iranian religious figures of providing funding for the rebels.
The claim has been rejected by Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
