President John Dramani Mahama, has nominated additional ministers in accordance with article 78 of the 1992 Constitution.
A statement from the Castle signed by Dr Raymong Atuguba, Executive Secretary to the President and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), named the nominees as Dr Henry Seidu Daannaa, Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, Mr Kwesi Ahwoi, the Interior, Mr Mark Woyongo, Defence, and Mr Haruna Iddrisu, Trade and Industry.
Others are Mr Abdul Rashi Hassan Pelpuo, Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, and Mr Nayon Bilijo, Fisheries and Aquaculture Development.
Mr Alhassan Azong, Alhaji Mustapha Ahmed, Mrs Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare, Mr Fifi Kwetey, Alhaji Limuna Mohammed Muniru, and Ms Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah have been nominated Ministers of State at the Presidency.
