Vodafone Spain’s offer allowing new subscribers to access Netflix for free over a six-month period is set to end on 24 October, reports website Xataka Movil. The operator launched the promotion a year ago, giving all new and existing customers with pay-TV subscriptions or a Red L or Red XL contract access to the video streaming service for free over six months. The offer is set to end for new subscribers on 24 October, while existing customers still have until 23 January 2017 to activate it.
Netflix will still be available to Vodafone customers for the standard price of EUR 7.99 per month for one device and EUR 9.99 for two devices and HD content.
Earlier this year Vodafone announced a deal with HBO to offer the video streaming service’s extensive catalogue to its customers via a service called HBO Espana.
