One upon a time, if you had more than one Twitter account and wanted to switch from one to the other, you had two choices: you could either go through the boring exercise of logging out of one and logging into the other, or you could use a Twitter client like TweetDeck or Hootsuite. TweetDeck is still around (as is Hootsuite, although it no longer has a free version), but you can now use Twitter’s native app on the web or a mobile device to easily switch from one account to another, for up to five different accounts.
Below, we’ll explain how to set up your web or mobile app to handle more than one account, and how to move from one to the other.
You’re set! Now, if you want to switch from one Twitter identity to the other, simply click on the three dots on the left-hand menu, and then select the identity you want to use.
Now you can just open the side menu and long press your user icon to bring up your other user icons at the bottom of the screen. You can also bring up the icons by pressing on the three dots to the right of your current user icon.
Now, to use a second account, open the side menu and select the icon for the other account. If you have more than two, use the downward-facing arrow to access all your user accounts.
