Self-Lock (SL)

Information
Our Self-Lock roofing is a "concealed fastener" system. Unlike traditional sheets where you drive nails or screws through the top of the metal, these sheets snap together over a hidden clipping system.
No Exposed Screws: The panels overlap and lock into each other, covering the fasteners completely.
Material: Usually made from high-quality Aluzinc or Pure Aluminium (available in various gauges like 0.4mm to 0.5mm).
Appearance: Offers long, clean, continuous lines without the "dots" of screw heads cluttering the roof.
Why It’s a Great Buy
1. 100% Leak Protection
The most common cause of roof leaks is the rubber washer on a screw perishing over time, allowing water to enter the screw hole. Because Self-Lock sheets have zero holes on the surface, the risk of leakage is almost entirely eliminated.
2. Superior Security (Anti-Theft)
Since the screws are hidden under the interlocking panels, it is nearly impossible for an intruder to unscrew or "peel" the roof from the outside. This makes it one of the most secure roofing options available.
3. "New Look" for Decades
Without exposed screw heads, there are no points for rust to start or for dirt to collect. After a heavy rain, the roof often looks brand new because the water flows smoothly off the flat, unobstructed surface.
4. Handles Thermal Expansion
In the hot Ghanaian sun, metal expands and contracts. Traditional nailed sheets can "tear" at the nail holes over time. The Self-Lock system allows the metal to move slightly within its clips, preventing warping and ensuring the roof stays flat and beautiful for years.
5. Modern Aesthetic
Architects love Self-Lock for its "minimalist" look. It’s perfect for the "hidden roof" style or modern sloping designs that are currently trending in Accra and Kumasi.
