Mr. Elvis Osei, a Member of the Decoration Team, told the Ghana News Agency that three decoration companies were engaged to do the job, which started on Tuesday, January 3, and expressed the hope that they would meet their deadline.
When the Ghana News Agency News Team visited the ceremonial grounds at 0830 hours, on Friday, they observed that the decoration team had used the national colours of Red, Yellow, Green and Black to decorate the various stands and platforms set up for the ceremony.

Some poles of traffic lights leading to the ceremonial grounds, as wells as the trees and stands at the grounds had been draped with the national flag, with the pavements painted white.
Scores of people had gathered at the entrance of the place to observe the transformation of the place. Some traders had also set up their wares on the pavements outside to sell various items, including smocks, bangles, and sandals, with some of the items designed with the NPP colours of blue, red and white.
