The Reverend Chris Hindell, International Director for Partnership for General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC), has called on Christians not to regard their challenges as insurmountable.
Rev. Hindell said if they had faith in Jesus Christ and regarded him as their saviour they would not panic when they faced challenges.
Addressing members at Apam, he stated, "God who is able to measure water from the oceans and rivers in his palm and weigh hills and mountains on a scale is mightier than any problem that may come our way." "That is the God we must cast our burdens unto."
Rev. Hindell, who visited from America, with his wife, to participate in the Easter activities urged Christians to make the death of Christ on the cross to atone for their sins and to reconcile them to their Maker, relevant in their lifestyles.
"The death will be meaningless if we should continue to live in sins," he stressed.
Rev. Kofi Gaise, National President of the AFBC, urged pastors to encourage fellowships to enable their members to grow together in God.
Children of God, he said, must not grow in isolation, and explained that the essence of fellowship was to encourage others.
Twenty branches of the church participated in the annual event, which brought members together to fellowship through prayers, singing, playing and dining.
