Arsenal and Chelsea are monitoring Luke Shaw's contract situation with interest as Manchester United look to finalise negotiations over a new deal, reports the Mail.
The England left-back has one more season to run on his current contract after signing for £31.5m from Southampton in 2014, as United triggered a one-year option this season to avoid losing the player for free this summer.
Despite a string of injuries, the London clubs are keen on the 22-year-old, though Mourinho is in a relaxed mood over his future, stating recently: "The natural consequence of it is that he will have his contract and he will be a United player for years."
The Gunners appear to have a more obvious need for Shaw with Arsene Wenger so far unconvinced with Sead Kolasinac since his move from Schalke. The champions signed Emerson Palmieri as cover for Marcos Alonso on their left side, so that does not appear a problem area for the time being.
