A total of 2,681 voters are on roll to cast their votes in twelve districts in the Volta region during special voting on December 2.
A total of 1,300 of these are expected to vote in the Ho municipal area comprising the Ho-Central and Ho-West constituencies.
The figures were compiled by the Ghana News Agency based on information obtained from the District Directors of the Electoral Commission by telephone during the time of voting on December 2.
This however excluded special voters in the Hohoe Municipal area, Nkwanta North and South, and Krachi-East which could not be obtained due to communication difficulties.
The EC District Directors however said the figures were by no means exhaustive because there could be other security personnel whose names might not be on their lists for technical reasons but would be allowed to vote.
Following a disagreement between the Volta Regional Police Commander Mr Bernard Dery and the EC Regional Director Ms Laurentia Kpatakpa this morning over the ineligibility of some Police personnel to vote for non-transfer of their votes, Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, the Electoral Commissioner directed Ms Kpatakpa to allow such personnel to vote and their names put on a special "absent list".
All the Directors told the GNA that the elections were going on without any problems.
Mr William O. Adarkwa, North-Tongu District Director of the EC said 13 out of 14 who were to partake in the special voting at Juapong had done so by 1100 hours while 23 out of 53 expected to vote in Adidome had also done so by that time.
Meanwhile Ms Kpatakpa told the GNA that some ballot boxes reported to have gone missing were found.
She said the two boxes which contained nothing were blown from the vehicle which was carrying them.
