Fashion entrepreneur and international model Belinda Baidoo has once again shown her commitment to promoting Ghanaian fashion by hosting the second edition of the Sip and Wine Expo in Accra.
The event, held at BB Boutique in Osu, brought together fashion enthusiasts, creatives, and shoppers to celebrate clothing and beauty products made in Ghana.
It formed part of Baidoo’s ongoing efforts to encourage the patronage of locally produced fashion items while creating a platform for homegrown designers and brands.
The boutique came alive with colourful displays of stylish outfits made from Ghanaian fabrics. From chic dresses and relaxed casual wear to statement kimonos and accessories, guests had the opportunity to shop a wide range of locally designed pieces.
Ghana-made footwear and beauty products, including hair and skin care items, were also on display.
As guests enjoyed wine, light refreshments and music, the atmosphere remained relaxed and interactive, allowing for networking and meaningful conversations around fashion, creativity and entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the event, Belinda Baidoo explained that the Sip and Wine Expo goes beyond sales. According to her, the initiative is aimed at building confidence in Ghanaian-made products and supporting women-led fashion businesses to grow and gain visibility.
Participants, including members of the Ghanaian diaspora, expressed admiration for the quality and uniqueness of the items showcased.
Many described the expo as a refreshing blend of culture, style and commerce that highlights the strength of Ghana’s fashion industry.
