Reverend Father George Ansah, the parish priest of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church at Fijai, has said many marriages in the society were falling on the rocks due to lack of trust among couples.
He, therefore, advised married couples and would-be partners to be truthful and faithful to themselves in order to stay peacefully and make their marriage a blessing to all.
Father Ansah said it was easy for a man and a woman to fall in love but difficult for them to remain faithful to each other after they have tied the knot.
He was preaching the sermon at the solemnization of holy matrimony of Mr Francis Ackon, a teacher at the Methodist Senior High School at Sekondi and Hannah Ackon at Fijai in Takoradi.
Father Ansah advised them to forgive each other when they offend themselves as no one is perfect and reminded them that all will not be rosy in life and must be ready to experience both good and bad days.
The nuptial ceremony was to crown their 15 years of marriage blessed with 2 children.
