Social Ministers Graduation

Kumasi, April 25, GNA - The Reverend Dzoagbe, Minister in-charge of the Assemblies of God Church at Kronum in Kumasi, has decried the increasing immorality in the country.
He said immorality such as bribery and corruption, alcoholism, drug abuse, child trafficking and many other acts, have affected the country's development efforts.
He has, therefore, called for the intensification of evangelism programmes by the churches to help transform society.
Reverend Dzoagbe was delivering a sermon at the 4th graduation of 35 Reverend Ministers of the Kumasi branch of the Ghana Christian University College in Kumasi on Saturday.
The theme for the occasion was: "Theological Education and Contemporary Church Building".
He said it was time for Christians to renew their spiritual upliftment and therefore asked them to be dedicated and committed to the worship of God.
Reverend Dzoagbe said taking up ministerial position was a challenging task and therefore warned the graduating ministers against using their positions to amass wealth at the expense of propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He advised them to see their call from God as important and help change the behaviours and attitudes of people.
Reverend Dzoagbe also urged them to mobilize their followers to undertake projects to ensure the growth and development of their various churches.
He stressed the need for them to lead exemplary lives as Ministers for their followers to emulate them.
Dr Manuel Adjei, President of the Ghana Christian University College, said the Bible College had been in existence for the past 44 years and has trained many Ministers and Church leaders.
He said the College aims at training church leaders to contribute their quota towards transformation of Christianity in the country.
The graduates were later presented with certificates.
