Libyan state television has broadcast images of what it claimed was a meeting between Gaddafi and tribal leaders on Tuesday at an unidentified location.
During the meeting, the participants also listened to an audio speech by the Libyan leader. Audio of the fiery speech was broadcast live on state television from Gaddafi's Bab al-Aziziya compound.
As NATO intensifies air strikes on Tripoli, the Libyan leader has vowed to fight to the end and attempted to rally his supporters. Gaddafi said he is ready to unleash at least 250,000 armed Libyans to swarm across the country, cleansing the eastern region of rebel forces.
