The crucial game kicks off at 19:00 GMT on Monday, September 8 at the Accra Sports Stadium with qualification to the next FIFA World Cup on the cards for either team.
Ghana’s Black Stars played out a frustrating goalless 1-1 draw with Chad while Mali beat Comoros 3-0 ahead of Monday’s clash but the NSA Director General has assured fans of their safety for the high stakes game.
“The match will be a very high security game in terms of the number of Police, Military and other support services who will make sure that….everybody are protected so you can be rest assured that you will have maximum security before, during and after the match” Yaw Ampofo Ankrah said while addressing the media.

Ghana’s last 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier at home had several safety infractions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
