The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association has provided a positive update on the condition of Ghana midfielder Abu Francis following his surgery in Japan.
According to the GFA, Francis’ condition has “significantly improved” after undergoing a successful procedure earlier this week.

The surgery, performed at the Toyota Memorial Hospital, delivered excellent results, and the player is reported to be in high spirits as he begins the initial phase of his rehabilitation.
His recovery is progressing as expected, and he is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital this weekend.
The Association extended its appreciation to the surgeons at the Toyota Memorial Hospital, the Black Stars medical team led by Dr Prince Pambo, as well as the medical staff of Toulouse FC for their coordinated efforts in ensuring the player received the best care.
