The Congress on Monday said that the (George W) Bush administration and the US have done good things for India, sidestepping questions
on a Iraqi journalist throwing shoes at the US President in Baghdad on Sunday.
"All the good things Bush and his administration has done for India symbolises friendship and warmth ..." Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters here.
Asked about the party's reaction to the hurling of shoes at the US President, Singhvi said, "there is no reaction if someone throws shoes at someone. It is not for the party to react on it."
In reply to another question whether Bush was hated in India, Singhvi said, "I do not share your perception on this".
