The Principality of Monaco has long been a venue of great sporting, artistic and cultural events at an international level.

Furthermore Monaco's Princely family supports sporting activities with special interest. HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco has always had a passion for sports and has participated at the Olympics 5 times with the Bobsleigh. HSH Princess Charlene has been an international and Olympic swimming champion.
