Accounting Clerk Jobs Information
A reputable debt recovery Company is inviting for the position of an Account Officer.
Candidates for this position must possess the ability to prepare various types of financial reports, superb command over the English language and good communication skills.
The potential employee’s responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain organized and up-to-date files for accounting and financial records.
Maintain general ledger accounts.
Record and reconcile financial transactions.
Posting of transactions into the company software
Provide monthly summary of bank reconciliations for review by Accountant
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor variances and provide insights for corrective actions.
SSNIT Contribution and Tax Preparation and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with SSNIT and tax regulations and laws.
Prepare and file tax returns.
Prepare and file SSNIT contributions.
Auditing and Internal Control:
Support internal and external audit processes.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Accounts Payable/Receivable Management:
Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on collections.
Ensure suppliers’ invoices are properly managed
Assist in the distribution of invoices to clients
Issue statement of affairs for clients when requested
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements
Assisting in clients and other reports generation
Other duties that shall be assigned from time-to-time
