Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or related field. At least 1 year of proven experience working as a cashier or in a similar cash-handling role. Experience managing cash drawers, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate transaction records. Familiarity with operating POS systems and basic computer applications relevant to cashier duties.

• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, helpful, and patient demeanor to greet customers, answer questions, and resolve complaints effectively.


• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting clearly with customers and team members.


• Good basic math skills for calculating totals, applying discounts or coupons, and reconciling cash at the end of the shift.


• High level of accuracy in handling transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining records.


• Ability to maintain a clean, organized checkout area and manage cash drawers efficiently.


• Capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment and handling multiple transactions smoothly.


• Willingness to assist with other store tasks such as restocking shelves, inventory support, and general store upkeep when needed.
