Our client, a leading advertising and creative communications company, is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives, expand market presence, and drive revenue across multiple advertising channels.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong industry networks, exceptional commercial skills, and the ability to convert opportunities into sustainable business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive company growth and market expansion.
Identify new business opportunities, markets, and emerging trends within the advertising and marketing industry.
Lead the planning and execution of sales campaigns, pitches, and proposals.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brands, agencies, and partners.
Oversee client onboarding, needs assessment, and long-term relationship management.
Negotiate and secure major advertising accounts and long-term contracts.
Revenue Generation & Sales Management
Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation, proposal development, pitch presentation, to closing deals.
Oversee the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Ensure revenue targets are achieved consistently.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development and client service teams.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and production teams to deliver compelling business solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
5–10 years of proven experience in business development, account management, or client service within the advertising, media, or marketing industry.
Strong track record of managing major accounts and driving revenue growth.
Deep understanding of advertising (traditional & digital), brand strategy, and media solutions.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, proposal development, and presentation skills.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop winning strategies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
