A reputable international company is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and competent individual for the position below: Position: Electrical Engineer Location: Tema Job Description: The company requires an experienced Electrical Engineer with practical exposure to be based in Tema. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and control of industrial refrigeration systems. This role requires strong hands-on capability combined with sound engineering judgment and the ability to guide technical teams. Minimum Requirements: • 5+ years’ proven experience in industrial electrical systems. • Formal electrical engineering training with traceable certification. • Resident in Tema. • Contactable references from previous employment. Key Technical Competencies: • Strong knowledge of 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems. • Proven ability to work with control panels, control boards, contactors, relays, sensors, safety interlocks and safety controls. • Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical and mechanical drawings and diagrams. • Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting on refrigeration systems. • Electrical fault diagnosis and root-cause analysis on industrial refrigeration electrical systems. • Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical components in refrigeration plants. • Understanding of electrical safety standards. Additional Skills & Attributes: • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Some exposure to refrigeration plants, cold rooms, or chilled environments. • Physically fit and comfortable working in cold environments. • Willingness to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
