JOB OVERVIEW
A growing events management company within the hospitality and events industry, specializing in the planning and execution of premium social and corporate events. The organization is seeking a creative, highly organized, and proactive Senior Event Executive to support the successful planning and execution of events while contributing to the growth and excellence of the team. The role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end event coordination, including client engagement, event design, vendor management, logistics coordination, budgeting, and on-site execution. Working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams, the Senior Event Executive will ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role also involves supervising junior team members, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting the delivery of creative event concepts that align with client expectations and organizational standards. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and solutions-driven professional with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism, creativity, and operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and execution of events, ensuring all aspects are delivered on time,within budget, and to the highest standard
- Develop creative event concepts and translate client visions into executable plans
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and relationship management
- Supervise and mentor junior planners, interns, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and creativity
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure cost-effective, high- quality products and services
- Prepare event budgets, proposals, contracts, and post-event reports
- Conduct site visits, manage logistics, and oversee event setup and breakdown
- Troubleshoot issues calmly and effectively on event day to ensure flawless execution
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Creative Arts, Communications, or a related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a senior or leadership role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successfully executed corporate, social, or cultural events.
- Background in creative arts, graphic design, visual arts, or project management will be an added advantage
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English will be an advantage
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to guide teams and perform effectively under pressure
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities with strong attention to detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and personalized client experiences
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional networks
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and client engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong internet research skills
- Knowledge of design tools and creative software will be an added advantage
- Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented approach with a strong passion for events and excellence
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities within fast-paced environments
