JOB PURPOSE:

The Bartender shall be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with lounge recipes and standards.


• Maintain thorough knowledge of drink menus, cocktail recipes, ingredients, and potential allergens.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and workstations.


• Monitor stock levels, minimize wastage, and report shortages or variances to the supervisor.


• Ensure all bar equipment is handled, cleaned, and stored properly.


• Promote beverage specials, signature cocktails, and lounge offerings to guests.


• Communicate effectively with waiters, hostesses, and supervisors to ensure smooth service flow.


• Comply strictly with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.


• Adhere to company policies, operational procedures, and dress code requirements.


• Attend pre-shift briefings and follow operational instructions.


• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.


• Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Line Manager.
