Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field Minimum of 5-6 years of working experience in the construction (building) industry In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, documentation, and permit requirements Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong understanding of construction industry safety standards and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to conduct effective training sessions and lead safety initiatives

• Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation


• Initiate and conduct regular toolbox meetings on site with workers and sub-coordinators


• Conduct frequent site inspections, risk assessments, and enforce preventative measures


• Instruct workers on proper use of protective clothing and safety devices


• Conduct routine tests on safety equipment


• Train staff and carry out drills for managing emergency situations


• Develop and implement safe operational procedures on site


• Prepare and implement Site Safety and Health Plans (SSHP)


• Certify scaffolds, trusses, and suspended platforms before use


• Review and update existing policies and measures according to current legislation


• Prepare comprehensive reports on site occurrences, risk assessments, potential hazards, and health and safety policies/strategies
