• HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Heavy Duty Plant & Equipment Engineering • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or workshop leadership role • Proven experience managing articulated trucks, trailers, tankers, and lifting equipment • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components • Excellent leadership and management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications: • Professional/technical certifications (e.g. NVTI, COTVET, OEM training) • Ghana-specific exposure and experience working in rough road, mining, construction, or long-haul conditions • Familiarity with local spare parts markets and vendor management

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Manage and supervise workshop staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of vehicles


• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize fleet availability


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies


• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools


• Coordinate breakdown response and repairs


• Develop and implement maintenance budgets and cost control measures
