Job Summary
Responsible for the installation, management and maintenance of all IT equipment, software and systems.
Education
✓ Minimum of 1st degree
✓ Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSE)
✓ CompTIA Server+
✓ Linux System Administrator
Key Job Responsibilities
✓ Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, storage, and virtualization
✓ Install and upgrade computer components and software, as well as manage cloud platforms
✓ Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as well as respond to client trouble tickets.
✓ Perform regular backup and restore operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
✓ Install and configure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments and servers, such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
✓ Monitor and use SIEM and XDR applications to detect anomalies on clients and servers.
✓ Ensure security policies are enforced and perform security audits regularly.
✓ Manage and troubleshoot SQL databases
✓ Provide IT support to all functions within the business
✓ Run IT help desk
✓ Office 365 Administration
Experience
✓ 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
Required Competencies
✓ Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
✓ Expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
