Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in logistics operations, preferably in a moving/relocation company. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Proficiency in logistics software, GPS tracking systems, and MS Office applications. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly. • Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs processes, and safety standards. • Valid driver’s license (added advantage).

Job Summary:
The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and executing all logistics activities to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation and relocation of goods for clients. This includes overseeing vehicle scheduling, managing drivers and loaders, tracking shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and equipment from origin to destination.


• Prepare daily and weekly logistics schedules, assigning vehicles, drivers, and crew for moving jobs.


• Ensure that all shipments are properly packaged, documented, and tracked throughout the delivery process.


• Supervise loading and unloading activities to prevent damage and ensure correct handling of goods.


• Maintain updated records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.


• Liaise with clients to confirm move details, provide updates, and resolve any logistics-related concerns.


• Monitor inventory levels of packing materials, equipment, and tools; initiate restocking when necessary.


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all logistics operations.


• Coordinate with customs agents, shipping lines, or regulatory bodies when necessary for cross-border moves.


• Assist in budgeting and cost control for logistics operations, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.


• Prepare and submit accurate logistics reports to management.
