JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to serve as a Field

Officer responsible for Container Evacuations from terminals to designated locations. This

critical role is responsible for effective planning, coordination, and meticulous

documentation of empty container movements from terminals to designated locations. The

position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders and drivers, the maintenance of

accurate and comprehensive records, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring that

evacuations are executed promptly in alignment with operational schedules and client

requirements.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and communicate equipment availability and movement plans to ensure timely evacuations from Terminals/depots.


• Update stakeholders on the status of empty container evacuations and address

operational challenges on the field.

• Prepare and verify documentation required for empty container transfers.


• Generate and submit daily reports on evacuation volumes, delays, and performance.


• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper handling of containers during evacuation processes.


• Maintain accurate and organized records of all container evacuations for audits and reference.


• Ensure all movements and documentation adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.


• Optimize experience by challenging business rules/ limitations where possible.


• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships at Customer end and with internal stakeholders.


• Prioritize customer needs and expectations in all aspects of work.


• Coordinating with drivers on the ground and ensure drivers always adhere to safety protocols.


• Be the go-to person for field operations at terminals on behalf of Maersk.


• Additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
