Description
JOB PURPOSE:
The BTL Marketing Officer will be responsible for planning and executing below-the-line (BTL) marketing activities within open market environments across Accra. The role focuses on driving brand visibility, product awareness, and sales through direct customer engagement, activations, and promotional campaigns. The officer will play a key role in strengthening the company’s presence in high-traffic market location.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Campaign Execution & Activations
- Plan and execute BTL campaigns including product activations, sampling, roadshows, and market promotions.
- Ensure effective setup, branding, and visibility of all promotional materials during activations.
- Identify and secure strategic locations within markets to maximize reach and impact.
2. Customer Engagement & Sales Support
- Engage directly with customers to promote products and communicate key brand messages.
- Conduct product demonstrations and sampling to influence purchase decisions.
- Support sales generation efforts by driving product awareness and conversions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing activities with sales targets.
3. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional trends within assigned markets.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to support marketing and product improvements.
- Prepare and submit timely reports on campaign performance and field activities.
4. Logistics & Asset Management
- Manage and maintain marketing materials, promotional items, and activation equipment.
- Ensure availability and proper use of branding materials during campaigns.
5. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all field activities comply with company policies and local regulations.
- Maintain professional conduct and uphold the company’s brand image during engagements.
