Job description:
1. Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives to optimize supplier relationships and enhance supply chain efficiency.
2. Identify and onboard new suppliers to diversify and strengthen the supplier base, fostering competition and innovation.
3. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
4. Oversee the procurement process from purchase requisition receipt to purchase order issuance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
5. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives to enhance supplier capabilities and service levels.
6. Maintain comprehensive price lists, product specifications, and supplier catalogs to support informed purchasing decisions.
7. Coordinate expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any outstanding orders.
8. Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
9. Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders and suppliers to address any procurement-related issues or concerns.
10. Ensure adherence to documentation and procedural requirements, providing an audit trail for quality management systems.
11. Generate and analyze performance indicators to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement efforts.
12. Manage contract agreements with service providers and maintain accurate records for reference and compliance purposes.
13. Undertake any other strategic procurement assignments as directed by management.
