Job Title: Program Officer
Location: Accra, Ghana
Reports to: Executive Director
DUTIES:
• The Program Officer will lead in supporting local partners and county health workers in developing project work plans, support implementation of projects activities within set timelines as per Allm strategy
• The Program officer will be responsible for coordinating programs and providing the necessary technical backstopping to partners while implementing different programs in Ghana.
• H/She will be responsible for building the capacity of local partners and county health workers on the adoption of Allm’s technology and business strategy.
• H/She will develop quality improvement activities for target partners and counties as well as the M&E framework for use in the monitoring and evaluation of projects
• H/she will work with the Business Development and Partnership Manager to set program performance indicators, and targets and ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of projects.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Health related field or Social science with at least 3 years of work experience
or
• A Higher Diploma in a Health related field with at least 5 years of work experience.
• Having experience in program implementation within public, private, and FBOs health sectors is mandatory
• Training and experience working with digital health application solutions are highly preferred
• Demonstrated project management experience including budget development, activities planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
• Demonstrated effective coordination of multiple projects
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical reports & strong proposal writing skills.
SKILLS
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; Fluency in the English language is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong people management skills, a resourceful critical thinker with the ability to solve any arising issues
• Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse teamwork environment driven by results
• Ability to work with minimum or no supervision, under pressure with strict datelines.
• Good proposal writing and Information Technology skills are essential.
• Ability to uphold Allm core values; Integrity, transparency, and accountability at all times.
