Job Description (Drinking Water Production)

Role Overview
The Quality Control Officer ensures that all drinking water produced meets regulatory, safety, and company quality standards. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting laboratory tests, enforcing hygiene protocols, and ensuring compliance with Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), FDA, and WHO drinking-water guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine physical, chemical, and microbiological testing on raw water, treated water, and finished products.
Inspect and monitor production lines to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain accurate lab records, test results, and quality documentation for regulatory audits.
Verify the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, bottling lines, and storage areas.
Ensure that packaging materials meet quality specifications before use.
Identify non-conformities, raise corrective action reports, and follow up on resolutions.
Liaise with production teams to prevent quality deviations and improve process efficiency.
Conduct regular calibration and maintenance checks on laboratory equipment.
Support staff training on hygiene, safety, and quality protocols.
