Job Overview
Generally, the Commercial Manager is responsible for business development of the company. She/he coordinates supply chain, sales and marketing functions of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Develop sales in Ghana with the existing network of dealers and enroll new dealers in line with targets set up by the Board of Directors Knauf Ghana, hereinafter referred to as the Directors.
2. Manage the company's Training Center in Accra including recruiting the local staff and managing the staff to achieve the objectives set for the training center.
3. Develop and implement a route to market strategy for the company products
4.Responsible for meeting Product mix, Profitability, Volume and Revenue targets
5. Control the commercial and marketing expenditures of the company and report any irregularities to the Directors.
6. Produce periodic written management reports to the Directors and Shareholders, as and when requested.
7. Ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant local commercial laws, rules and regulations.
8. Support to develop sales in the West African sub-region and more specifically in Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Togo, Benin in line with targets set by the Directors.
9. Perform any related tasks, assignments and duties that management may from time to time assign to the appointee.
10. Lead the business development team to achieve sales targets set by the Directors.
11. Keep the Directors of the company's updated with reliable commercial and marketing information on the market towards their ultimate objective of establishing a production facility in Ghana.
