JOB PURPOSE

A Restaurant

The successful applicant shall be responsible for error-free cash register operations, payment processing, and interactions with customers. The role reports to the Accountant.

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT:

• Receive payment by cash, cheques from customers.


• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.


• Ensure that there is sufficient cash in the cash drawer.


• Maintain correct cash balances at cash registers


• Solve all cash related queries.


• Maintain a clean checkout area.


• Communicate company policies and procedures to customers.


• Make daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports
