Description
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and ensure correct orders are delivered
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints politely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Set up tables before service and clear them after customers leave
- Process bills and handle payments (cash, POS, mobile money, etc.)
- Upsell menu items such as desserts, drinks, or specials to increase sales
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant
- Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to dress code standards
- Handle customer inquiries and provide recommendations when needed
- Ensure timely service even during busy hours
