Job Summary
The Ticketing and Visa Processing Officer is responsible for handling all airline ticket reservations, bookings, reissuance, cancellations, and visa application processes for clients. The officer ensures accurate documentation, compliance with embassy and airline regulations, and delivers efficient, professional customer service to support the company’s travel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Make flight reservations, issue tickets, and process reissues and refunds using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Advise clients on flight schedules, routes, fares, baggage policies, and travel requirements.
- Compare fares and secure the most cost-effective and suitable travel options for clients.
- Monitor booking deadlines and ensure timely ticket issuance.
- Handle group bookings and corporate travel arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with airline policies and International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all bookings and transactions.
- Provide after-sales support, including changes, cancellations, and travel disruptions.
- Provide clients with accurate information regarding visa requirements for various destinations.
- Assist clients in completing visa application forms correctly.
- Compile, review, and verify supporting documents for visa applications.
- Schedule embassy appointments and coordinate biometric submissions where required.
- Liaise with embassies, high commissions, and visa application centers.
- Track visa application status and update clients accordingly.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of client documents and personal information.
- Keep updated records of changing immigration policies and visa regulations.
