The International Road Federation, a UN agency based in Geneva, has invited the Chief Executive Officer of Road Transportation consultancies, Mr Godfred Akyea-Darkwah to attend a meeting of the federation in Lisbon Portugal.
Mr Akyea-Darkwah will present a personal concept on Driving Management Science for adoption by the federation ,at the conference scheduled for the year.
Mr Akyea-Darkwah, who made this known to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Wednesday, noted that the concept is a social knowledge based solution to
unacceptable attitudes and behaviours by drivers, leading to preventable fatalities on the roads.
Mr Akyea-Darkwah is the first Ghanaian to be invited for the five-day conference to be attended by about 190 countries.
The federation is the UN agency that deals with world road network.
