The Rev Alex Nkrumah, Resident Pastor of Go Ye Harvest Time Ministry in Accra, has said that Ghanaians are endowed with leadership potentials that needed to be developed for the betterment of the country.
"The black man is endowed with the wisdom of leadership but lacks the ability to develop these leadership talents," he said.
In an exhortation at a three-day leadership seminar attended by pastors, reverend ministers, evangelists and lay church members at Obuasi, the Rev Nkrumah condemned leaders who created wide gap between them and their subordinates.
"In such situation, it is difficult for the organization to achieve its goals and missions", he said, and urged leaders to be servants and not to lord it over their workers.
He criticized those in leadership positions who suppress the talents and God-given gifts of their subordinates and called for a new breed of leaders who inspired confidence in their junior workers.
Rev Dr Prince Augustine Kudolo, the Bishop of the Church, said all the people required the transfer of the spirit of God to perform as expected of them.
