Madam Felicia Akowuah, National Secretary of the Women's Ministry of the Pentecostal Believers' Church, has called on parents to help reduce the increasing rate of child delinquency in the society.
She said as a way to end child delinquency and streetism, married couples had to be resourceful and strategise to make life comfortable in the home.
Madam Akowuah was speaking at the closing session of the Eight Annual National Convention of the Women's Ministry of the Church at Ampabame in Kumasi.
The convention, under the theme: "Fan the Flame," was attended by delegates from the 14 branches of the church nationwide.
Madam Akowuah advised Christian mothers to be wary of their lifestyles and think of how best they could care for their families and serve the Lord.
Mrs Comfort Agyapong, a guest speaker, called on members to be selfless and lead exemplary lives worthy of emulation.
She urged them to work hard to support the growth of the Church and the home.
Reverend David Amarde-Agyapong, General Overseer of the Church, advised the women to embark on positive evangelism to win more souls for Christ Jesus.
He said: "Christians have been called to do the work of God and we can do it by fanning the flames with the talents given to us by God.
We can do this if we commit ourselves into devotion, fellowship and service to God," he said.
