He commended the Company for their contribution to the catchment area and noting that the progress of such an investment was the concern of everyone including his paramountcy.

He made the commitment when the Management of the Company and Leaders of the Union Groups led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kofi Boateng made a call on him and his traditional council at Akwamufie.

He therefore assured the delegation of his support at all times and encouraged the team to work to ensure that the company regained its glory.

Mr Boateng said the Management called on the paramountcy of the Akwamu State to update the Paramount Chief on the progress made so far with the revamping efforts of the factory and its operations.

He also introduced the Management team to the Paramount Chief, Odeneho Kwafo-Akoto III and Queen Mother, Nana Afrakoma II.

The CEO expressed the team's commitment to partner all stakeholders including; the government and to work towards the set goals.

Nana Afrakoma II, who recently celebrated her 55th year as Queen Mother recounted the memories of being part of several milestones related to Akosombo Textiles and pledged her full support for the team and its efforts.

She encouraged the team to be aware of the impact of their work on the community as well as the Nation.
