Mr James Fosu, Bosomtwi District Chief Executive (DCE), on Wednesday presented 3,751 mathematical sets to the District Education Directorate.
Government donated the sets to be distributed to all schools in the district to enhance teaching and learning, especially mathematics and science.
Mr Fosu called on parents to complement government efforts by providing the basic needs of their children such as food, clothing and shelter, while the government provided the much needed infrastructure and other logistics such as books and teaching materials.
The DCE said the huge investment being made by the government in the education sector was a clear manifestation of its readiness to improve the level of education.
Mr David Awuni, the District Director of Education, who received the package, commended the government for the support and pledged to distribute them fairly to enhance quality teaching and learning.
