A Bibiani magistrate court has granted GH¢1,000 bail to Yaw Yankey, a 27-year-old businessman from Sefwi Bekwai, for causing harm to Mr. Mike Yeboah a transport owner.
Yankey, who pleaded not guilty, was also charged for threatening to kill Mr. Yeboah and will re-appear on March 23.
Detective Chief Inspector Alex Asamoah said that on March 9 whilst Mr Yeboah was conversing with one Afua Serwaa, the accused emerged from his house and attacked him.
Prosecution said Yankey further accused Mr Yeboah of killing people for money.
Detective Chief Inspector Asamoah said that resulted in an exchange of words between them and the accused hit Mr Yeboah, opening cuts on both his upper and lower lips.
Prosecution said a report was then made to the Police and the accused was arrested.
