German police were hunting Sunday for three suspects after a nighttime hotel-room stabbing left two dead in downtown Frankfurt.
One man died of stab wounds in the hotel room and a second man stumbled from the room as far as the hotel stairwell before collapsing. He was rushed to hospital, where he died.
A police spokesman said a manhunt was under way for three men seen running out of the hotel after the attack. Police did not disclose the ages or the ethnicity of the victims, nor the suspected motive.
Post-mortem examinations of both victims were planned for Sunday and police scientists were combing the hotel for evidence.
