According to her, “although the area has over the years been dominated by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during elections, the people are unable to get their share of the national cake anytime the party is in power.”
Madam Adam was speaking at a sod-cutting ceremony at Ullo to commence the construction of nine infrastructure projects in the municipality.
The projects include Community Health-based Planning Services (CHPS) compound and nurses quarters at Deriyiri, 10-seater water closet toilet at Han Market, borehole at Ping, construction of two unit nurses quarters, extension of CHPS at Tampaala, a 10-seater water closet toilet at Jirapa Senior High School (SHS) and a three-unit classroom block at Ullo Islamic Junior High School (JHS).

“Education and health are the priorities of government which is committed to make the two service areas more accessible, I appeal to beneficiary communities to give the needed support to the contractors to enable them to complete the projects on schedule,” she said.
Naa Alhaji Baburonon Amadu Seidu II, Paramount Chief of the Ullo Traditional area, commended the MCE for working assiduously to bring the needed development to the area adding that “we have seen many MCEs, but you are different, since you came we have benefited from a number of projects and grateful to the government”.
