Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan will be playing against his former club on Wednesday, with a place in the Champions League semi-finals at stake.
"I still follow [Dortmund] a lot, I still try to watch as many games as possible in the Bundesliga when they play," he said.
"I know they have a lot of quality in the squad - quick, fast, technically really good players. On their day they can beat every single team in Europe.
"Going to Dortmund and knowing there is no crowd, it feels like it is a disadvantage for Dortmund," added the Germany international. "I played there for five years, I know how loud it can be in that stadium. It was the same at our stadium last week. There is something missing in football at the moment."
