Former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan just spoke to the media.

He was warm in his praise of Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland, who is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe just now.

"He is a great talent, a great player and an exciting prospect," said Gundogan.

"He scores a lot of goals, is physically strong and quick. He is so determined and goes into the spaces that may hurt.

"The fact that his numbers are already outstanding, not just in the league but in Europe, is incredible.

"He will have a great future. It seems to me he is also bringing the right mindset to go to the top."
